Canterbury Adult Support Unit is a Care Quality Commission registered, residential service that provides short break stays for up to five adults with a learning disability Autism, and behaviours that challenge.
This can be for a short break away from home, support during transition from one service to another or emergency placement whilst waiting for other care to be arranged.
The service is a short distance away from Canterbury town centre. The service is run by Kent County Council.
Referrals to this service come via the persons social care team and people interested in a placement should ask the social worker to enquire on current vacant places. People and their families should not contact the service direct.
