The Ark Bakery Project and Small Holding

The Bakery  and Project has been running for 5 years and offers real work skills and learning opportunities

for people with additional needs referred via “Shared Lives”.

Referred individuals learn how to make breads and cakes, work in our little bakery, develop new and transferable skills.

Together we deliver our popular Bread Making Workshops , Deliver our wares, run our Occasional shop and attend shows and Markets.

Self Confidence, Creativity, Work and Life skills..... And the development of a sense of role and purpose

are some of the hopes and aims for all those who join us at The Ark .

The project adheres to standards, training and requirements required by Kent County Council and is supervised and supported  by Shared lives part of KCC

The project is managed by an  Occupational Therapist with over 25 years of experience .
