Kent Wide Down Syndrome Group (KWDSG) is affiliated to the Down Syndrome Association (DSA). The Downs Syndrome Association provide information and guidance on all aspects of living successfully with Down's syndrome. They also have a helpline and can help those affected by Down's Syndrome with:
- specialist advisers on benefits
- education and health
- advice for new parents or anyone experiencing difficulties
- advice on employment for people with Down's syndrome

They can provide information, support, guidance and signposting to other appropriate organisations.
The Helpline is usually open from 10am to 4pm Monday to Friday. Callers can access trained helpline advisers. The service may be closed occasionally during these times for operational reasons; if this occurs notice will be given on their website.
