The club aims to provide low cost boating facilities for owners (and their families) of motor cruisers, fishing boats and sailing craft, kept on tidal moorings leased from the Medway Port Authority (Peel Ports).
There is no clubhouse so social activities are restricted to outdoor activities e.g. barbecues, fishing competitions, cruises in company. Members are required to maintain their moorings and are encouraged to acquire RYA qualifications in Navigation, Boat Handling, Safety at Sea and Marine Radio Operation.
