The orchestra provides an outlet for those who enjoy playing music together in an informal and friendly atmosphere. We rehearse on a Monday evening between 7.30 pm and 9.30 pm during term time and give concerts in spring and autumn.
The Orchestra welcomes new players of all ages. We ask that you be of at least grade seven or equivalent. You are invited to attend three trial rehearsals, should you wish to join the orchestra all we ask is that you attend on a regular basis and in particular attend the rehearsal in the afternoon of the concert.
