Friends, Families and Travellers offers practical support and advice on health, education, dealing with discrimination and bullying and staying safe.
In addition, the Travellers Advice Team (TAT) is a team of solicitors which is independent of Friends, Families and Travellers that provides legal advice on:
- Allocation of pitches on local authority sites
- Cases for boat dwellers especially on the Continuous Cruising Guidance
- Evictions from rented sites (local authority, housing association and private)
- Evictions from unauthorised encampments
- High Court Planning Appeals
- Homelessness (including for those in houses who need a pitch)
- Planning Injunctions
- Serious disrepair on rented sites
- Stop Notices
