Founded in 2012, Dartford Foodbank has been working hard with the help of our local churches and volunteers, to aid individuals in our area. Our work is dedicated to providing food to those in need; we strive to inspire and improve the lives of those who need assistance.
When you enter the church building at Spital Street, Dartford, you will be greeted and sent to one of our Foodbank hosts, whom you can identify very easily, as they will be wearing green Foodbank clothing.
They will then sign you into the system and take your information. Please note; you will need to bring with you some form of ID, like your passport or driving licence. You will also need to bring with you copies of your benefit entitlement or referral letters (phone copies accepted).
Once you have been checked in, you can have a nice cup of tea or coffee whilst you wait (Starting in June). Then a Foodbank Host will direct you into our shop, where you can choose your shopping items with a member of our team.
We have a variety of food and essential items in stock for you to choose from. Please bare in mind stock changes due to donation levels and we are only able to offer what we have in stock.
You can also park in the local town centre carparks or in prospect place which has 2hrs free if you are shopping there.
