The Hub at Mental Health Resource

Mental Health Resource  is a local, award-winning charity which provides safe spaces and person-centred mental health support in our community to help people who have complex, enduring mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, PTSD and bi-polar, improve their wellbeing.

One of our services is our friendly wellbeing centre, known as 'The Hub' which is is open to all adults with emotional or mental health needs, completely free to access and provides wellbeing activities and a safe space to talk.

The Hub is located at 2a Grosvenor Park and is open Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays for a range of daily activities and workshops, tailored to promote recovery and wellbeing. We also run groups out in the community on a Tuesday and Thursday. Last year, our trained and supportive staff helped 193 people through providing 1-2-1 support and wellbeing activities, including:

  • Art groups
  • Craft groups
  • Creative writing
  • An allotment group
  • Men's and Women's Talking groups
  • Walking groups

How can the Hub help me?

If you want some help to improve your mental health and emotional wellbeing, you can access any of our wellbeing activities or simply visit us for a chat. Most importantly we recognise the value of friendship and peer support. Many of our groups are led by clients or volunteers who also live with mental health conditions.
