The Child Death Helpline is there to listen. They understand that the death of a child is one of the most devastating events that anyone may experience. Sometimes the feelings of grief can be so overwhelming that they make everyday living very difficult – they are there here to help. They have a dedicated helpline which offers support to anyone affected by the death of a child of any age, under any circumstances, however recent or long ago.
Your call will be answered by a trained volunteer who has also lost a child and understands the feelings that surround the death of a child. They offer a confidential, safe environment where you can talk openly about your child’s life and death. You can freely express your worries and emotions to someone who understands the day-to-day struggle.
Their free, confidential helpline is open every day of the year.
- Monday to Friday: 10am to 1pm
- Tuesdays: 1pm to 4pm
- Wednesdays: 1pm to 4pm
- Every evening: 7pm to 10pm
