Avenue Nursery & Forest School are well established in our community (1974). Our highly trained staff are dedicated people who care and value all families. Our key person approach helps the children to form supportive caring relationships, which enables them to confidently explore and grow in their new environment.
We have a Good Ofsted rating. Our curriculum emerges from the child’s fascinations and is linked to the EYFS framework, ensuring a child centred approach to learning and development. We include many extracurricular experiences including regular small group outings, annual group excursions, events and celebrations involving all the family throughout the year.
Vision Statement.
Our vision for all children attending Avenue Nursery and Forest School is that they feel happy, secure and valued, whilst developing a love of learning.
We will provide a safe, caring environment, where each child can explore and develop in their own unique way in all areas of learning.
We aim to do this through supportive caring adults, a stimulating environment and interesting motivational experiences. Valuing nature and outdoors as an inspirational educator. Where the children truly engage with all their senses, sparking curiosity and awe.
We also feel that Parent Partnership is vital to offer the best start for any child and we will work closely with parents and carers to support and care for their child.
