I am a qualified Nursery Nurse (NVQ 3 and 4) and was Deputy Manager at a local day Nursery. I have over 20 years experience working with children aged 3months to 8 years. I also hold a first aid certificate of which I renew every 3years, I am a member of PACEY (Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years) to support my childminding and business. Babies and children thrive in a happy, friendly and nurturing environment in which they feel confident and secure. It is my aim to provide a home from home environment as well as lots of new experiences and learning opportunities.

I live in a semi-detached house with a large but enclosed garden. I have a new play room (built in 2017) for the children, where the children can access and enjoy independently a variety of natural based resources to encourage children to explore, create and be curious. With lots of invitations to learning.
I follow the Curiosity approach and have created a calm environment to allow children to become confident and independent learners.
