The Whitstable Umbrella Centre is a welcoming place open to everyone. It is ideal for anyone living with loneliness, depression and bereavement.
The Centre is a local pioneer of the Casserole Club movement. Casserole Clubs enable people to share extra portions of their home cooked food with elderly, isolated or vulnerable people in their local area.
The Centre offers a warm community cafe; free access to computers and the internet; training workshops to improve your computer skills which is suitable for all ages and abilities and hobby groups such as arts and crafts.
Also provides affordable transport (minibuses) to groups and organisations.
