Orchard View Residential

Orchard View is a residential service for adults aged 18+ with autism spectrum conditions and complex needs including behaviours that may challenge. Orchard View uses an outcome-focused model, supporting individuals to become more independent.


Orchard View provides full, inclusive support planning, care needs and risk assessments. People are supported to live active lives and to learn domestic skills as well as social and practical skills. Staff are available 24 hours a day including waking night staff.

Notes

24 hours a day shared support; including night support.

Life skills training.

1:1 support to meet individual assessed needs if required.

Full inclusive support planning, care needs and risk assessments.

Promotion of communication for users with autism and or communication needs.

Support is structured to ensure that the individual has the opportunity to access a full range of activities within the community e.g. football, cinema swimming and local clubs and where possible employment opportunities and access to local colleges.

Opportunity for people to move on to supported living or outreach support when ready, to be provided by staff from within Regard.

Promoting self advocacy and support to access advocacy services community learning disability team and health care professionals.

Support with personal care, cleaning,laundry, menu planning, shopping,cooking and travel training to promote independence.
