Stories with Symbols

Founded by three friends, Stories with Symbols was originally intended to be a resource aimed at children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN), to make stories more accessible and enjoyable.

We have since come to realise that lots of children, with – and without – additional needs, enjoy our Stories with Symbols!

We make videos designed to stimulate interest in books, support comprehension and help children learn new words and ideas.

With the input of communication and language professionals from across the UK, the videos follow a set formula and are filmed in a specific way which maximises the opportunity for attention and learning while minimising distractions.
