Aspirations Healthy Living Centre

The Aspirations Healthy Living Centre is a one stop shop for all of your health and wellbeing needs in Thanet. Aspirations Healthy Living Centre offers help advice and support to get motivated to change the way they live. Aspirations Healthy Living Centre can provide help and advice on the following issues:

  • Smoking and how to stop smoking
  • Drugs and alcohol misuse
  • Sexual health
  • Mental wellbeing
  • Healthy weight programmes and physical activity
  • Advice and access to education
  • One to one support
  • Drop in café
  • Counselling and therapy

Aspirations Healthy Living Centre also have two classrooms, a private counselling room, a reading corner and a cafe serving drinks, snacks and Wi-Fi. There is also a hands-on training workshop where people can learn construction, bike engineering and DIY skills. There are several ways to access Aspirations Healthy Living Centre Educational courses Aspire+ and Aspire streamline (16-18yrs) - self referral Mental health employment training (Aspire Community) - refer through your job advisor at the job centre NHS health groups and counselling - self referral Drop sessions/cafes/groups - advertised online and so open to all the community.
