Here at Manor Community Primary School Nursery we provide a fun and exciting learning environment. We understand that children learn best when they are engaged and involved and so we plan stimulating activities, incorporating our children’s interests whenever possible. We endeavour to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere, organising our inside and outside environments to reflect this ethos. We offer both 15 (5 x mornings or 5 x afternoons) and 30 hour free childcare.

Special Needs Support
How does the setting identify children with additional needs or SEND?
We work closely with the School SENCo team and with specialist teachers in the local authority.
How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?
We offer an open door policy where each parent can discuss their child with their key person. We also invite parent(s)/Carers to a formal parents' evening twice a year. Parents can also access their child's learning online using a secure webpage.
How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?
We assess the children every term and regularly meet and discuss how we can further develop their skills and knowledge in whilst in our care. We will discuss their progress during parents' evenings and throughout the year.
How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users?
DDA Compliant
How will you support my child's transition to a new setting or school?
A high percentage of children who attend our Nursery will then go on to attend our school. We work closely with the foundation stage team to ensure a smooth transition for both child and parent. We also invite other schools to visit us if needed.
Who should I contact if I am considering registering for a place at the setting?
Please contact the main school office for an application form. Alternatively you can download the form above or from our website.
What arrangements does the setting have for feedback from parents / carers, including compliments and complaints?
We welcome feedback at any time from parents and we also hand out parent questionnaires at parents' evening.
