Dover And District Beekeepers' Association

We aim to promote good practical beekeeping by giving advice and mentoring beginners through the season, to obtain equipment to loan to beekeepers, to educate beginners in bee behaviour and life cycle. We encourage take up of craft through help and encouragement.

We meet monthly on the last Saturday of the month (except in December), outdoors in summer and run talks and courses indoors in winter. The summer meeting are especially valuable for practical bee keeping demonstration and hands-on experience. We are often present at local fairs, fetes, rural events and hold an annual show in October. We take responsibility for local swarm collection.
