We offer 15 hours of funded universal hours and eligible 15 extended funded hours, subject to availability. we also offer to share these funded hours with a nursery of the parents choice if applicable.

How does the setting identify children with additional needs or SEND?
We work in partnership with parents providing daily diary's , we complete 2 year old checks and give out termly updates on next steps, so we are able to monitor children's progress.
How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?
Working in close partnership with parents and providing termly updates on the children's progress.
How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child's needs?
By seeing every child as an individual and understanding their likes and dislikes we are able to provide a curriculum suited to the child's individual needs.
What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties?
We adapt our curriculum to the individual needs of the child. We work closely with parents to ensure they are happy with what we provide.
What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND?
We would source any appropriate training to support the child, and seek support from other professionals such as those in the local authority.
How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?
By working in partnership with parents, completing daily diary's, completing 2 year old checks and termly assessments.
How do you ensure children with additional needs or SEND can be included in the same activities as other children, including trips?
We adjusted to the child's needs.
How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users?
Unfortunately my home is not accessible for children with mobility difficulties.
How will you support my child's transition to a new setting or school?
Work in partnership with other professionals who will be involved with the child.
How does the setting assess the overall effectiveness of its SEN provision and how can parents / carers take part in this evaluation?
We have regular conversations with parents , risk assessment, and continuing to monitor the individual care of all children in my setting.
Who should I contact if I am considering registering for a place at the setting?
What arrangements does the setting have for feedback from parents / carers, including compliments and complaints?
We have an annual questionnaire we give to parents asking about the care received for their child. I have a complaints policy which parents receive when registering at the setting. We welcome any form of communication from parents including compliments and complaints.
