The object of the Society is to foster an interest in photography among its members.
Club evenings consist of a variety of competitions, lectures and 'club member' evenings.
We have competitions in both projected digital images and prints and in our 'Open' section offer 3 divisions in each for those just starting out on the photographic trail to the more experienced members, many of whom have many distinctions and accreditation after their names, but all of whom are very happy to share their expertise and advice. We also have trophy competitions where everyone competes against each other.
We meet weekly from September until May of the following year and throughout the season, we also offer tuition evenings (dependent upon member requests) ranging from Light room and Photoshop tuition through to camera skills and portrait sessions, etc.
Suitable for anyone aged 16 and above.
