Dover And Thanet Rights Of Way Society

We offer regular guided walking led by volunteer group members throughout the year.

Regularly, on alternate Sundays mornings we have a very popular 4-6 mile walk taken at a fairly easy pace. Additionally, there are gentle walks of about 3 miles on the intervening Sunday mornings.

During the nicer weather, there are also some all day Saturday walks of 8-12 miles with a pub lunch stop. If you prefer, you can bring a picnic. Occasionally, a themed walk may be offered as an alternative.

There is also a variety of social events for members to enjoy. These vary, but can include holidays, outings, skittles, dinners or quizzes: dependent on what volunteer members can offer to the club.

We work with other local walking groups to help keep rights of way in good order and accessible to all.
