Isle of Thanet Geographical Association


Our association promotes an enthusiasm for geography, the environment an other allied interests. The local branch was founded in 1956 and is affiliated to the Geographical Association.

We meet up for 10 sessions per year on the second Monday in the month and the evening is mainly connected with geography, the environment (including the countryside), eco matters and is in the form of an illustrated lecture. We sometimes arrange visits and holidays for the members and friends.

Annual membership of the Isle of Thanet Branch is £15.00 with a concessionary rate of £3.00 available for students. The charge to attend lectures for non-members is £3.00.
