My setting offers good parking facilities for carers when dropping and collecting children off. Children have the use of all downstairs rooms giving them lots of space to enjoy and we also have a large garden for lots of outside play.

Observations and use of the EYFS helps me to identify if a child has any additional needs. I also have good.communication with parents and other settings.
How will I be informed / consulted about the ways in which my child is being supported?
I update parents on a regular basis and complete observations with are sent to the parents.
How will the setting adapt the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum for my child's needs?
Lots of resources to suit individual needs are provided and regular observations.
What teaching strategies does the setting use for children with additional needs or learning difficulties?
Lots of sensory activities to engage children with SEN or disabilities. I am also able to offer one to one time in a calming environment if and when required.
What additional support does the setting provide for children with additional needs or SEND?
I have a good working partnership with other settings or agencies, such as Pre schools and speech therapists. I would also provide the child with a key worker to promote continued care and support.pare
How will the setting monitor my child's progress and how will I be involved in this?
Observations will be carried out and monitored and parents will be updated with these.
How do you ensure children with additional needs or SEND can be included in the same activities as other children, including trips?
Trips will be assessed to ensure that they are accessible to all children. I will ensure that all activities are adapted to include all children, no.child will be excluded.
How accessible is the building for children with mobility difficulties / wheelchair users?
Easy access, no steps. Bathroom is also on ground floor.
How will you support my child's transition to a new setting or school?
Our local school usually arranges a visit to meet the child at the setting.
