Special Needs Support

The childrens progress is monitored within the setting using progress trackers and regular reviews, if a child a falling below expected levels we will discuss the best cause of action to take and sign post to relevant help and assistance.

We complete regular progress reviews where you can add any concerns that may arise.

We can also provide a daily  contact books for you to pass on any messages.

We plan for each individual childs needs which can be adapted when and where required this includes the childs interests to help encourage and promote learning.

We are an inclusive practise and  will adapt all activities and outings to meet all ages and stages of development. This includes cultural preferences.

You will be kept updated on your childs day with regular whatsapp posts to help you feel included in your childs learning.

We offer individual planning and have experience with targeted planning and working in partnership with other specialist providers.  We invite specialist teachers into the setting who need monitoring within the learning environment. We also work along side  the specialist teachers to delver the additional support that may be required.

Regular reviews, verbal discussions and parent questionnaires.

All activities/outings are adaptable to all ages stages and ability.

All activities/outings are adaptable to all ages stages and ability.

We use transition reports and promote school readiness during the final terms before school. Quite often we collect from the schools the children will be attending so that children are used to the external school environment.

We teach independent skills, letter recognition,  phonic, handwriting skills. We have a uniform and homework system in place to help with the transition.

We have a good relationship with our parents and encourage open discussion of any concerns.

You should contact Julianne Nocentini owner childminder. We will discuss your requirements and arrange a visit. A link will be sent to my closed work Facebook group to enable you to see what activities are on offer.

We have regular parents views forms and a comments book available. We also use daily diaries to pass messages if needed.

Reviews can be found on childcare.co.uk from past and present parents.
