My name is Belinda Hunt I am a mature lady with 3 grown up children and 3 grandchildren. I am an ofsted registered childminder based in Swanley walking distance from the station for commuting to London.
I have 30+ years experience in childcare. For the past 23 years I have worked in the same nursery where I have followed the EYFS curriculum to achieve best outcomes for children, planning and enabling the enviroment to extend their learning so that they become independent little people.
During my working life in the nursery I have attended many courses to extend my learning which has included lots of training on speech and language which has given me knowledge to identify if a child may need extra support and to discuss with parents on ways to get the support.
For the past 10 years I have been the SENDCo (special educational needs co-ordinator) for the setting where I have supported children with additional needs and their parents, working alongside other professionals to support the childs learning.
