Thanet Pop Orchestra - Kent Music

Open to young people aged 11-18, this instrumental ensemble will focus on learning, exploring and performing a mix of contemporary genres including rock, pop, musical theatre and many more.


Led by expert tutor, Paul Richards, the group is ideal for musicians who want to learn and perform contemporary and popular music alongside new friends.


Grade 2+ (or equivalent experience playing for 3 years or more) All instruments welcome!

After the first half term

there will be a charge of £45 per term (3 terms per year) to attend the music centre – this fee includes membership of all groups at Thanet Music Centre
and all other Music Centres across Kent. A 10% discount applies to membership if you are currently receiving instrumental tuition through Kent Music.
