Futures Life Skills Centre is a modern, ground-breaking leisure and life skills facility in the heart of Sussex at Chailey Heritage Foundation, near Lewes. We can take people aged 16+ with disabilities, including physical and complex health needs.
At the Life Skills Centre you can explore your creativity, stimulate your senses and, most importantly, have fun!
The extensive range of activities and facilities, together with our experienced and friendly team, means there is something for ever.
What we do:
- The Centre is open throughout the year 5 days a week (Monday – Friday) and offers a range of facilities and activities that are not readily available elsewhere in the community to people with disabilities. It operates on a pay-as-you-use basis.
- The opportunity to attend a wide range of activities, including; Art. Cooking, Drama, Multimedia, Sensory and many more, and experience the latest assistive technology, including EyeGaze. Many of the machines can be operated by switches.
- Supporting your Health & Well-being - access to our accessible fitness centre and activities, including; Gym, Spa, Sauna, Yoga and Hydrotherapy Pool. A massage therapist is also available.
- On-site Cafe called GK's where you can expect friendly service, freshly prepared hot and cold food including sandwiches, baguettes, scones, soups, paninis, jacket potatoes, salads, pastries, cakes and biscuits, plus a range of hot and cold drinks.
- Futures Life Skills Centre offers fully accessible toilets and changing facilities. Free parking is also available.
