What are the hours Loulous Day Care operates?
We have children that start as early as 7am and some pick ups as late as 6.00pm, so most hours can be accommodated and all requests are considered.
In general however, the hours are 8am to 6pm which would constitute a full day and 9am to 3pm, which is our shorter session covering 6 hours. We only operate Monday to Friday.
Do you follow any educational framework?
Yes, we follow the EYFS framework. This is individual for each child and it involves observations and setting out development plans.
How can I follow the progress of my child’s learning?
For those children of preschool age where we follow the EYFS framework, this is captured in a web based, early years programme, called Kinderly. Parents will have 24hr access to any observations that have been recorded also photo’s taken and can easily see where their child is on their own learning journal.
Have you been inspected by Ofsted?
Yes, Ofsted have inspected our home and our recent inspection was judged as Outstanding in all areas,

Can I pay with Childcare vouchers ?
Yes, we can accept all childcare vouchers. The childcare voucher scheme is typically managed through your employer and normally deducted via their payroll. For further advice, or the benefits of paying with Childcare vouchers, you will need to speak to your employer as to which scheme they run.
Are there any additional charges for meals or drinks?
All meals and drinks are included in the charges. Breakfast sessions offer cereal, toast, fruit or porridge. After school sessions offer a cooked meal or alternatively a snack (toast or piece of fruit) can be provided if not having a meal.
Funded hours sessions
Funded hours can only be used against 9am-3pm sessions
Minimum sessions
Each arrangement or agreement must be a minimum of at least 3 sessions per week
