Description

We do support special educational needs for children up to the age of 5. We have a large flat floor space that is adapable for indoor play. Also a flat outdoor play area that is freeflow.

We have a ramp access and a disablity toilet area.

Our fire exit is on a completely flat surface.

We do trips out to the beach, library, shops and a local nursing home all of these areas are completely accessible for any disability

  • Parent/carers are asked to complete a questionnaire about there child's care
  • New parent/carers will be able to discuss there child's needs/likes and dislikes on there first visit with the keyperson
  • The information is then discussed with all staff members to support any areas the parent/carers wish to address
  • The manager constantly monitors the setting using the Iters and Eters programes
  • All children's needs are constantly being monitored
  • We hold termly meetings with parent/carers and the next terms planning is planned with the parent/carers involvment 
  • The preschool has a Facebook page which all parent/carers can contact the manager on anytime
  • The preschool during opening hours has a contact phone number
  • Parent/carers can turn up at the setting at any time and have a look around the setting and collect a parent/carer pack
  • A staff member is always available if a parent/carer wants to come along and discuss what we offer for their child
  • Parent/carers are able to discuss anything by talking to there keyperson/ manager any time who will put it in writing and ask for it to be signed by the parent/carer if they wish to do so
  • Parent/carers also have the opportunity to answer a questionaire twice a year
  • The information gathered from the questionnaires will be discussed at the next staff meeting or if considered serious for any reason a meeting will be put into place straight away and an outcome reached and dealt with
  • If a parent/carer has a complaint of any kind this should be discussed with the manager the same day and hopefully resolved as quickly as possible
  • If any complaint can not be settled between the preschool and the parent/carer a third party will be asked to step in.
  • The setting does have a complaints procedure that the parent/carer will be given when they start at the preschool
