Headway Kent supports adults who have sustained a brain injury.
We have 4 hubs across the county that offer reablement, support and information, these are in Ashfoird, Canterbury, Folkestone / Hythe and Folkestone.
We also run free drop-ins at K&C hospital, Medway Maritime Hospital and QEQM.
We also provide online, 1:1 and small support groups, together with carer and family support.
The charity was established in 1989 (formally known as Headway East Kent) and has a wide range of experience working with brain injury surivors.
Our hubs provide a point of contact for people to meet others in a similar situation to offer mutual support, understanding, information and awareness of brain injury as we support survivors to live independently, return to work, rediscover lost skills, gain new skills and access new opportunties.
