Little Moonbeams Day Nursery offer the highest level of care to children from the age of 3 months to five years. We are a family run business who are enormously proud of the homely care we provide for the children and families of Faversham and surrounding areas.
Our nursery is located in the lovely town of Faversham with good access to London and surrounding towns via train and the M2.
Following an expansion in Spring 2022 Little Moonbeams now occupies two buildings on Upper Brents in Faversham.
Our original building is a Grade 2 listed property that was originally built for the congregation of St Johns church located next door. The building boast beautiful high ceilings and a huge space for the Pre-School children to learn and grow within. We have two large Pre-School rooms as well as an Art Room, Sensory Room, Soft Play Room and a Role Play Room.
Our recent purchase was of another stunning Grade 2 listed building that was previously used a a public house. Our Babies can be found on the first floor and our Toddlers on the ground floor. Our Chef is also based in this building where he cooks delicious home made meals for all of the children.

All children are welcome to attend Little Moonbeams and our highly qualified and nurturing team have a vast range of experience to cater for all children's needs, including and not limited to Autistic Spectrum Disorder, Speech and Language delay and Global Delay.
Care plans and activities are differenciated to ensure that every child's needs are met and that they have the best opportunity to thrive and learn whilst in our care at Little Moonbeams.
We place great emphasis on teaching children 'life skills' at Little Moonbeams including good manners, kindness, wiping thier own nose, using a knife and fork, going to the toilet independently and so much more. We believe that if our children are confident and independant that will give them the best start possible with their early enducation.
ALL 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for 570 hours of funded childcare from the term after their 3rd birthday.
As Little Moonbeams is a full day care nursery which is open for 51 weeks of the year, we offer our funded sessions as ‘stretched’. This means that your child will receive their 570 hours (Universal funding) or 1140 hours (Universal + Additional Working Parents Funding) stretched over the whole year. We allow funding to be claimed as in 8 hours in a full day or 4 hours in a half day.
A small number of Funded Only sessions are offered at Little Moonbeams Day Nursery in the afternoons from 1pm to 5pm.
The government funding can be used to book longer sessions at Little Moonbeams, however, additional Service charges are applied to longer sessions. Our service charge includes any additional hours within the funded session as well as meals, snacks, resources and consumables.
