Teal CIC - equine therapeutic centre


We offer 4 ASDAN accreditated courses in equine studies developed for young people and adults aged 14+ with SEND, er also offer ASDAN maths and english, animal care, gardening, introduction to land based studies and carers and experiencing work.

We are a very unique and bespoke stables based on a beautiful small holding in country side, we only work in small groups (max 8 students at a time) so we can meet thier individual needs in a space where they feel comfortable and can enjoy and achieve. Our staff are fully trained and have many years experience in working with younge people with disabilities and special educational needs, we also work with non-school attendees. We are fully insured, DBS checked and licensed by the local authority. 

We also offer accreditated courses in animals care and land based studies alongside mini accreditated course such as peer group studies and many more. 

We offer part time - 1 day a week courses and full time (16hrs) that's a 3 day course.

Description

We provide ASDAN accredited courses for ages 12 + and can be named on ECHP for those over 18 years old.

We offer full and part time courses, we have a maximum of 6 students at any one time with a 3-1 student to staff radio.

We work with pupils with mild learning disabilities, SEMH, Autism and related disabilities.

The courses involve physical work with horses and other animals.
