Lets Get Working - Employability support for those with long term health conditions or disabilities - Age 18 plus

Lets Get Working is a project funded by National Lottery Community Fund and The ESF and supports those who have long term health conditions and or disabilities and as a result might be experiencing social isolation and unemployment.  The project goal is to move individuals into either structured education that will support their long term employment aspirations or directly into employment improving their financial welfare and independence.

Through a range of one to one and group interventions Lets Get Working (LGW) will support individuals in building skills, confidence and local support connections to improve their own health management, opportunities and employability.  

Working with a network of partners we are able to support with training of all types, accessing services that might not previously have been available to you and also in strengthening your own ability to make positive choices that improve longer terem outcomes.  We focus on mental wellness and physical health and offer structured support to set and meet your own goals with the support of a highly skilled team.  Regular review meetings and one to one work with your advisor we will open the door to a range of new options that can help you kick start your future!

Although our Main office is based in Maidstone our teams work from a range of locations across the local areas, we have an office in Riverside House in Tonbridge and deliver sessions from various community based locations to make sure that accessing the support is easy and connects you to other services available on your doorstep from day one.  Other locations that we deliver from include The Grand in Gravesend, The Moat House community Hubs, Local Libraries across the delivery area, a range of community cafes.

Although you can ask your medical professional or DWP Job Coach to complete a referral for you, you can also self refer and contact us directly if you or a family member could benefit from our support in getting out to employment or into education.


We specialise in working with people with long term health conditions and disabilities, we aim to support everyone providing they have a personal desire to progress and we will be flexible with our provision to meet your needs.
