Bright Start Community Forest School - Transforming lives through nature

We offer out-door hands-on learner-centerd services for children and young people aged between 5 and 25 years from all backgrounds and abilities.

Specialising in bespoke one-to-one and small group sessions, facilitated by qualified and experienced practitioners where we follow a forest school ethos, celebrating the process rather than the product. We are based on 3 acres of native woodland, allotments and fruit orchards in Margate where participants can engage in a variety of horticultural practices, nature based arts and crafts, bushcrafts and basic woodwork.

We promote the therapeutic qualities of spending regular time in nature and the benefits this gives to our physical and mental well-being. Individuals are given the freedom to relax, connect with nature and learn about the environment, explore, play and be themselves.
