Scouting change lives by offering 6 to 18 -year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in communities.
Activities as diverse as kayaking, abseiling, expeditions overseas, photography, climbing and zorbing. Also can learn survival skills, first aid and much more.

8th Sheppey Scout Group was founded in 1924. We are lucky that we have our own headquarters and camping area in Sheerness behind 59 Broad Street.
Each week we provide Scouting to our members on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evening.
- 4-6 year olds are known as Squirrels and meet on a Thursday evening from 5.00 until 6.00pm
- 6-8 year olds are known as Beavers and meet on a Tuesday evening from 5.30 until 7.00pm
- 8-10 year olds are known as Cubs and meet on a Monday evening from 6.45 until 8.15pm
- 10-14 year olds are known as Scouts and meet on a Tuesday evening from 7.15 until 9.00pm
