Alexander House is a vibrant and community spirited home located in the heart of Dover, Kent. Led by the newly registered and award winning manager since Aril 2017, the home's warm and friendly team are dedicated to providing person centred care in a home from home environment.
Our residential community is set back from the road. The recently refurbished large open social and leisure spaces and dining areas are ideal for our service users to either socialise or enjoy a relaxing meal. With a beautiful courtyard garden and conservatories which join the houses together.
The homes Manager Natalie, has worked in Health and Social care for over a decade, becoming the registered manager of Alexander House in April 2017. She is dedicated to providing person centred and dignified care and has in the last year collected 3 awards for her work in Dementia Care; she is the 2017 Dementia Carer of the year, awarded to her by the Great British Care Awards.
The home has great community links which include the local Royal British Legion, Dover SmART Community Project, Yoga, links with local Schools and Churches as well as a school and sports joint initiative. The home is also part of the Social Care Commitment-

We provide Residential and Dementia care which can be accommodated on a Long Term: Short term: Respite, Convalescence and Day Care basis.
