We maintain and aim to enhance a 15-hectare area of countryside woodland and meadow, used for recreation by the local community.
We meet for a 3-hour session when we undertake various tasks such as tree planting and pruning, litter picking, bramble clearing, erection and maintenance of signage, and surveying the flora and fauna. These “Task Days” are usually held on the first Saturday each month, from 10 am to 1 pm. All tools for various tasks and refreshments are provided.
Every volunteer is also welcome to join our steering group. It meets roughly every two months for a 2-hour session.
Suitable for anyone aged 4 and above.
