Kent Community Health NHS Trust - Children's Speech and Language Therapy

We assess and treat children and young people with speech, language, communication and feeding difficulties. We also train and support parents, carers and staff in early years' settings and schools.

We provide assessment, diagnosis and treatment for children and young people with, language delay, specific language impairment, specific difficulties in producing sounds, hearing impairment, cleft palate, stammering (dysfluency), autism/social interaction difficulties, voice disorders and selective mutism.

Therapy is offered in community clinics for pre-school children with language or speech difficulties and for school-age children with speech sound difficulties, voice difficulties, selective mutism or dysfluency (stammering). Therapy for school-age children with language difficulties may be offered in clinics, schools or via training.
