Folkestone and District Family History Society


The society aims to promote the study of family history in the south east of the county, mainly in the Shepway council area (Folkestone and Romney Marsh).

We meet on the first Thursday of the month and our programme of  activities include: monthly talks, assistance with research between members, annual outside visit, transcribing of records and recording of headstones in various cemeteries.
