At Scribbles Pre-School we aim to:-
- Provide high quality care and education for children, ensuring that we provide an environment that is safe, secure and welcoming. The children’s learning and development is recorded, ensuring that the curriculum meets the needs of every child, socially, intellectually, emotionally and physically.
- We aim to work in partnership with parents to help children to learn and develop;
Parents are regarded as members of our setting who have full participatory rights. These include a right to be: valued and respected, kept informed, consulted, involved and included at all levels. We value parent’s feedback, regularly adapting the setting to meet the wishes of our parents, these are expressed through yearly questionnaires.
- We aim to offer children and their parents a service that promotes equality and values diversity.
- We aim to nurture self-confidence and self-esteem and encourage independence. Through providing a rich play environment that promotes children’s rights to explore, question and learn. Each child is given care and attention, is encouraged to participate and learn together. We take forward his/her learning and development and build on these foundations.
