We can help with: dusting, vacuum cleaning, washing floors, general housework, companionship, hospital transport and support, prescription collection and shopping. We do not provide the following services:taking down curtains, moving heavy furniture, any cleaning which involves using steps unless these steps are provided by us,window cleaning, gardening.
Our helpers are employed by Age UK and therefore are covered by our insurance policy which covers them for the work which they do in your home. All helpers are asked to undertake a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring check) and must provide satisfactory references before being included in the scheme.
