Mid Kent Bee-keepers, a branch of the Kent Bee-Keepers Association
We meet once a month to talk about, have lectures and demonstrations on all aspects of beekeeping.
Our branch has over 100 members and is run by committed and passionate volunteers to represent the interests of beekeepers and promote responsible bee keeping through training, education and effective disease management in the mid Kent and Swale area. We encourage members to take their basic bee keeping exam to try to raise the quality of our beekeepers.
We welcome new members so check out the events and courses on our website. https://www.midkentbeekeepers.org.uk/
We educate the general public through exhibitions at various local events.
We help train new Beekeepers and experienced Beekeepers by having the use of a well equipped Branch Apiary for members to use and learn.
Informal meetings and speakers at Detling or Harrietsham Village Hall once a month in Winter.
