Harlequin Out of School Clubs - Tunbridge Wells


Harlequin provides breakfast, after school and holiday clubs for children of primary school age, and a pre-school for children from age 2. Care is provided from 7:15am - 6:30pm all year.

 

Based in newly refurbished, spacious accommodation, Harlequin offer games, crafts and daily structured activities aimed at the children's interests and development needs.

 

Breakfast club includes drop off to local schools and after school club includes collection from school.  Holiday club is open to all children even if they do not attend a feeder school.

Harlequin's bespoke building in Southborough has three separate areas for craft, play and sports and activities.  The building is fully air-conditioned and air is filtered to reduce allergy and poor-air quality issues.

Special Needs Support

SEND

Harlequin are fully compliant with the equalities act and have a robust SEND policy .   We have very experienced staff who have undergone lots of additional training in order that we can support children with any SEND. We are , staff allowing, able to accept children who need additional support and 1:1 . Harlequin follows “best practice” guidance which helps staff to support children so that children are happy, settled and learn. We have a good relationship with our local inclusion and equalities adviser (KCC). Harlequin are efficient at identifying any potential additional needs and getting the required support from professionals. This includes attending local LIFT meetings.
