East Kent Mencap – Sondes Road Supported Living

This supported living property is a four bedroom house with a shared lounge, kitchen, bathroom and wetroom. Hours of support vary and are dependent on individual needs. All tenants are supported and encouraged to become as independent as possible. Support can be offered in all aspects of living in a community setting, all support is tailored to meet the individual need using a person centred plan and approaches.

We welcome input from outside agencies to work with tenants, from community police to recycling workers, to voluntary workers and students. We have a particular focus to keep tenants informed and involved both in their own future and also in the development of East Kent Mencap.

In addition, all tenants can easily access the wide range of free or low cost clubs and groups which East Kent Mencap provide.
