Our libraries are free to join and offer a wide range of services - from free access to books, computers, the internet and information to the hire of music, audio books and films.

Accessibility
Accessible toilets with baby-changing facilities on each level, located on:
- Ground floor - café
- Mezzanine floor – off Local Studies area (toilets closing times as for café)
- First floor – Colour and Camouflage Gallery (toilets close 5pm and all day on Monday when the gallery is closed)
- There is lift access to all floors

- Car parks very close by including Pound Lane public car park

- Reading Group meets monthly on third Monday 2:30pm - 4pm
- Canterbury Library Midweek Readers meets monthly on first Wednesday 11am starting 5 April
- Baby Rhyme Time on Thursday 10:15am and 11:15am
- Wise Words for Wellbeing Group on Friday 2pm - 4pm
- Storytime on Saturday 3pm - 3:30pm TBC
- Deaf and Hard of Hearing Book Club meets monthly on first Saturday 11am - midday
- Children's reading group (9 to 12 years) meets monthly on first Saturday 2pm - 3pm. Please email canterburylibrary@kent.gov.uk to book
