The Dover Transport Museum Society's aims are to collect, restore and display vehicles and items of transport memorabilia for the education and enjoyment of the public, with special reference to local transport history. The museum runs, in support of the aims, an active schools programme and a number of specialist events throughlout the season.
Members of the Society work in a variety of roles in maintaining the collection, the estate and exhibitions, as well as dealing with visitors and helping school parties and club visits.
