Tonbridge Philharmonic Society

With over 40 instrumentalists and 100 singers, Tonbridge Philharmonic Society is an established and well-respected part of musical life in Kent under the Musical Directorship of Matthew Willis. We have been performing high-quality music in Tonbridge since it was formed in 1946.

We are one of the few societies comprising both chorus and orchestra. We present a regular programme of choral and orchestral concerts of a high standard, employing professional soloists. The Society has an extensive repertoire spanning a wide range of music and normally perform 3 choral concerts a season in Tonbridge School Chapel and 2 Orchestral concerts each season in St.Stephen’s Church Tonbridge.
