Lisa Jane Eastburn

My name is Lisa and I live in Tankerton, Whitstable with my daughter aged 19.  I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder, working with my partner, also a registered childminder, and a member of PACEY, with whom I am fully insured.  I belong to the Whitstable Childminding Group.  I have been childminding since 2004 and in my last Ofsted inspection in 2015 received an Outstanding grade.

I am an Eligible Childminder which allows me to draw funding for the Free Entitlement of Nursery Education for 2,3 and 4 year olds, including the 30 hour free entitlement (subject to availability).

My property is a bungalow and the whole of the downstairs area is used for minding, including a fabulous conservatory which we use as a playroom.  My garden is fully enclosed, well equipped and the children have access to the garden every day.  I provide sun hats, waterproof all-in-ones, wellington boots etc to cover all types of weather.    It is my priority to provide the best possible care for your child in a welcoming home-based setting.  This is an equal opportunities household and we treat every child as an individual with individual needs.  All children, irrespective of their race, age, gender, colour, ability, family structure, language spoken and social, cultural and religious backgrounds are welcomed.   Whether you are looking for a Childminder, Adhoc cover, weekend cover, school or nursery pick-ups please do not hesitate to contact me, via my Contact Me page on my website.

30 Hours Partner Details (These are details of any other childcare provider(s) that this provider will work with to offer the 30 hours entitlement)

For children receiving the Kent County Council Free Entitlement the following applies: Funding received is term-time only. Full fees apply outside these times. You will be invoiced for all hours outside your Free Entitlement. The hourly rate for funding does not cover the cost of consumables, eg daily snacks, payments to groups, Wildwood, trips/outings, wet wipes, toiletries, crafts supplies etc. This will be invoiced separately under "Sundries" on your monthly invoice, which is a voluntary contribution, equal to & pound;1 per hour during funded hours. Funded places can be delivered on any day of the week, any time between 7.30am and 6pm. There is no minimum session length, but a single session cannot exceed 10 hours. The funding may be shared with other settings. You are required by the KCC to complete a Parental Declaration form ahead of each term. It is your responsibility to complete these and return to me as soon as possible. I will not be able to apply for funding without them. A copy of your child's birth certificate must be attached to the initial form you submit.
