At our preschool, we observe and assess children against the Early Years Foundation Stage development matters document. Needs are identified when the age and stage of these assessments are significantly below their chronological age.
Parents are also encouraged to discuss any worries they may have with their child's keyperson or our senco
You child's keyperson will discuss your child's development regularly. They will plan activities and strategies to further your child's development and meet their needs. If SEN is identified, your child's keyperson and/or our senco will discuss how you can support your child at home.
We ensure all activities and resources are suited to all children and adapted when and if necessary, working with parents to ensure this
