The Mill Street office in Maidstone (ME15 6XW) offers a wide range of wheelchairs for hire.
The Maidstone Community Support Centre (ME14 1HH) offers help at home (cleaning, laundry, changing bedding, shopping, gardening); help with bathing in your own home; help with property maintenance; a monthly lunch club and cafe; support for people living with dementia and those looking after them; counselling; hearing clinic; footcare; music; dance; sing-along; quizzes; computer classes; seated exercise and Nintendo Wii sessions and art therapy sessions.
The Goodman Centre (ME15 6XW) in Bearsted is a fully equipped, safe and homely place for people living with dementia. Transport to and from the Centre is available upon request.
The West Kent befriending project aims to provide support and companionship to adults to reduce loneliness and isolation. The project is suitable for the elderly, people living with physical impairments and mental illness. The project operates in Dartford, Gravesham, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.
