Hi, my name is Michelle and I have been an OFSTED registered childminder for 16 years. I am a member of PACEY and have my public liability insurance with them. I have 1 cat, 2 very small chihuahuas, a bearded dragon, a miniature Hermann Tortoise and a Hamster.
I have lots of toys and equipment that are age appropriate. I enjoy cooking with the children and regularly make homecooked meals and desserts. I provde lots of opportunities for arts and crafts. Indoor activities include, drawing, painting, colouring, play dough, books, stories, sing songs, dancing to music, board games, puzzles, cooking, dressing up, DVD’s, free play and much more. I have an enclosed garden that has a slide, sand pit, climbing frame, ball pool, water table, trampoline with safety enclosure, mud kitchen and lots of ride on cars, tractor and scooters.
My chilldminding experience has enabled me to have the privilage of looking after babies from 3 weeks old but also the satisfaction you get from older children up to the age of 12 years. I attend Childminding groups, and toddler groups as well as the library and sure start centres. During the holidays I go to lots of different attractions, Leeds Castle is a favourite, Rare Breeds, Port Lympe and Howletts Zoo, Beaches and adventure play parks.
I offer the funded early educational hours for 2, 3 and 4 year olds.
